


This cuvée is produced with a parcel which come from a 1er cru in the Côte des Blancs area. It finds its minerality in a chalky subsoil and develops rich and complex aromas, revealing a great terroir.

Grape-varieties and vineyard :

100% Chardonnay . Terroir of Voipreux. Our parcel was planted in 1961. South-east exposition. Soil with silt and limestone, not deep with calk on the surface. Chalky subsoil.

30% of which are reserve wines of past years.
Method of vinification :
- Grapes are picked up by hand when fully ripen, and traditionally pressed.
- Alcoholic fermentation in vats
- Malolactic fermentation partly made
- Ageing for 6 months and light filtration before bottling during the springs time
Disgorging and dosage : disgorging « à la volée » (by hand) and dosage at 7-8 Gr/l
This Blanc de Blancs Champagne develops a great aromatic presence and gives a subtle and elegant character. This Champagne has a beautiful gold color and reprents our Terroir. In the mouth, the aroma reveals a perfect maturity and the quality of the grapes. The finish is powerful and shows a nice minerality.
